It sure was. Who also expected there to be such drama, passion, controversy, suspense, action, and fun all in one movie?!?
Pizza! The Movie is a feature-length documentary about pizza and acrobatic pizza dough tossing.
The movie covers the current pizza industry, the history of pizza, the United States Pizza Team (yup, there is one), the World Pizza Championship in Italy, and all things pizza.
Making the film was an amazing experience, and the result is a highly entertaining and rather informative celebration of the most popular food in America
Pizza! The Movie has sold to Latin American Pay TV and various European television markets. It has also sold here in the U.S. to The Documentary Channel (part of the Dish Satellite TV Network) and had its North American Television Premier in April of 2009.
